Ric and his wife Jean started the church in their home in April of 2013 with a group of friends that shared the same heart. The church moved to another member’s home on Winchester Circle in the Crowfield development and remained there until moving to the present location in November of 2013. Ric started in ministry at age 18, in Seneca, SC, working with his father, R. Richard Edgar, until age 30 when he became Senior Pastor of the church, which he then led for 18 years. He has also served as an Executive Pastor in Jacksonville, FL and as an Associate Pastor in Moncks Corner, SC. He and Jean currently live in Goose Creek, SC, have been married for over 40 years, and have three adult children: Ricsha (David) Kinard, Ryan (Nikki) and Micah (Erin). They also have nine grandchildren: Allie Grace, Hunley, and Raley Kinard; Jaslyn, Jordan and Frankie Adeline; and Abbie, Titus and Veda Jean. In all of their ministry experience, leading Reality Church is proving to be the most exhilarating and exciting time in Ric and Jean’s life! They love imparting to others from their knowledge and experience and seeing YOUR dreams become your REALITY! Their vision is to see the cultivation and fulfillment of every good dream that God has deposited in your heart!
FAVORITE THINGS TO DO: Hanging out with Jean, spending time with the grandchildren and playing golf.
